McNEWS

Hm mm, exciting news is an interesting way of putting things Lauren!

Well as Lauren has informed she has joined the work force & I have been given the opportunity & challenge of fulfilling one of the things I have wanted to do with my life...

BE A HOUSE HUSBAND.
Yep it doesn't sound that exciting but I have always wanted to give it a crack, as well as not being one to stick to stereotypes. Let me tell you I knew it wasn't going to be easy but man my hat goes off to all the single parents, housewives/husbands, carers and the like in the world! Yes it is fun at times (and I tell you what I will never get sick of The Jungle Book) but man is it challenging looking after growing, curious children. Everyday is different and the same activities day in and out just don't cut it. I'm really looking forward to putting House Husband on my resume!
Um, I am currently pursuing (or is that agonising, I'm not to great at making decisions) further study next year at St. Mark's theological school thing place in Canberra, just not sure of the specifics so I'm gonna drag my arse over there next week to talk to someone and try to nut some stuff out!
Some doors are opening in regards to possible houses for us next year (excuse the pun) but it is all in God's hands, so no worries.
Oh yeah believe it or not but I don't mind the old washing, folding, sweeping caper but i have always been a tidy(ish) person.
I have booked in to renew my learners driving licence (it has been a long time & a long story), yes I'm slack, have a slight fear of cars in general and last time I had my learners I badly broke my arm (playing sports not driving) and just couldn't be arsed but now I am (mostly for Lauren).
Speaking of doing things for Lauren and long stories I have booked my wedding ring in for a resize so I can wear it without it falling off, thats right I have only worn my ring once, on my wedding day, now I could go on like the old Mick about symbolism and all sorts of stuff but the moral of the story is its not just about what i believe. So there.
Much respect to you all.
Michael
